Searching by Address
Using the above search tool, you can search for homes and businesses by address: a street name combined with a 3-digit street number like prospect007 or beach149. A 4-digit number is necessary for Palmer Avenue or the Post Road, like palmer1906 or bpr2112. (BPR refers to the Boston Post Road.)
If you want to search for all of the residences and businesses on a street, enter the street name and and you will get all results for the street.
General Keywords
In the original version of this archive also set up a list of indexing keywords. It is necessary to manually transfer these tages so there are not currently operational. As these are restored in the new database, you will be able to search on these keywords you will reach those images that have already been indexed. For example, enter keyword “halloween” below and you will see ghosts and goblins past.
